Baudelaire

Baudelaire.

Suena a algo que tendría varias referencias a Life of Ky.

*TFB. 9pm. Sunday. Typing this new entry just in time before gemini season is over. Before the solstice officially begins*
Perhaps it is absurd to justify the endless procrastination with the fact that this month, the phenomenon of the "mutable squaring". Anyways, its safe to thank Mia Astral for she's the reason why this unusual alignment didn't mess up my head, (or demons, which were brought to light during and after mercury retrograde)..greatly.
Someday last week, Wednesday or Thursday, because I didn't have much to do, I decided to hit the streets with the sole purpose of finding new doors. There are so many that deserve to have a spot on this blog.
The superstars to me, havent lost its grace quite yet, sorry Leandra Medine, they're still a must. The "bebe" top was way too much time left behind in some drawer. The suede jacket is an essential, not invisible to les yeux. And the highlight of the post..the belt. I'm a firm believer that belts make the outfit, the day, even life.
Well, happy summer solstice and full moon, the cusp of magic is almost here.

Monachopsis is a series of photographs born after Sofia Coppola's-filmmaking as a muse. Portraits of young girls with a rather melancholic tone to it, "trapped" inside their homes, their worlds. Monachopsis, refers to the term of the feeling of not belonging; this is why, this project presents fragments and details of the setting where these characters develop, and where they feel so captive.

Terrence

It's 0:14 and Mondays aren't so bad. With the recently released song by Lana del Rey, "Terrence Loves You"- which I dare to say that is one of my absolute favorites by the artist- comes a very mellow (almost Morrisey-like) feeling that could only mean that summer is over. These past three months of summer migh have seemed like an eternity but at least I got enough footage on my 35mm kodak to cover up my soon-to-be inspiration board. (I've spent way too many hours on pinterest, enough to actually make myself believe that I'm capable of doing any DIY project).
Three pieces of this outfit are vintage, the mom jeans are probably one of the best purchases I've made recently, and...superstars because why not.

Wishlist No.1

Wishlist

Lately, my wishlist has been growing in a very inhuman way. The thing is that this list that I created on Polyvore is pretty similar to everything I would purchase ONLY if I redeemed multiple gift cards or coupons (or won the lottery). I have created dozens of lists this summer: makeup, shoes, cosmetics, clothes, activities, dreams, films, tv series, and even top instagrammers. I’ll try to share with you some of my lists this month.

October Playlist

That sudden feeling of guilt for not posting regularly has been coming to me these past days/weeks...This lovely Monday (tryina be positive here) I come with the songs that Ive been loving this past month and what's of October.

Disclaimer: the rainy days in Quito are always a personal reminder that it's time to go back to Ben Howard and some indie folk musique. Enjoy.

Disfruten.

Generation Y

Still can't get over the Emmy's last night (round of applause for Queen Jessica Lange and the whole AHS and OITNB cast), basically that's the reason why I took one of  Madison Montgomery's quote from Coven: "I am a millennial. Generation Y. Born between the birth of AIDS and 9/11, give or take. They call us the Global Generation". One moment of silence. I created this outfit by putting this lovely top from DearOne, some high waisted pants from Bershka and black creepers. I'm in some deep love with this top since it has this lovely ethnical print but at the same time is very lightweight making it perfect for summer (even though its ending already).

Generation Y. Born between the birth of AIDS and 9/11, give or take. They call us the Global Generation".
Disfruten.

My thoughts on Leonardo NOT winning an Oscar, you ask? Think my dicaprio-obsession is way more enormous than my love for Dallas Buyers Club...but let's get back on to business. We had 4 days off of school since Carnival came up, so my family and I decided to go to the nearest beach, Tonsupa. (Ecuador)It's always nice getting a breath of fresh air and just listen to Ben Howard while watching the waves crash against the rocks. Been doing some thinking about my future..which involves the realization that this is reality, and that my fellow readers hits me every time.
A few of the shots I took today...
